Beets are highly nutritious and a cardiovascular friendly root vegetables, perfect for endurance athletes! Go out and conquer an Ironman! Beet root has very good levels of potassium. Potassium lowers heart rate and regulates metabolism inside the cells by countering detrimental effects of sodium. Combine this with the Pineapple. Which contains the enzyme bromelain. Bomelain digests food by breaking down protein. Bromelain also has anti-inflammatory, anti-clotting and anti-cancer properties.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Pineapple with core
  • 1/4 Beet with leaves
  • 1 Cup Strawberries

Directions

Step 1

Wash and cut produce.

Step 2

Juice ingredients in an Omega Juicer.

Step 3

Pour into glass. Stir. Enjoy!
