Hummus

Hummus

Ingredients

  • 1 Can (25-29 Ounces) Garbanzo Beans (Chickpeas)
  • 3 Tablespoons Tahini (Sesame Seed Paste)
  • 2 Cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cumin or To Taste
  • 4 Tablespoons Cold Water
  • 1/2 Cup Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
  • Juice of 1 Lemon
  • 1 Pinch of Kosher Salt
  • 1 Pinch of Black Pepper
  • Garnish with a Drizzle of Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
  • Garnish with a Dash of Smoked Paprika
  • Garnish with Chopped Parsley

Directions

  • Drain and rinse the Garbanzo Beans.
  • Peel the garlic.
  • Add all ingredients to your blender except the extra-virgin olive oil.
  • While blending slowly pour in the extra-virgin olive oil.
  • Transfer hummus to a bowl and add your garnishes.
  • Enjoy!
